Bantry is a colourful, busy market town set between the hills and sea.

Friday is market day with stalls in and around the main square, the first Friday in the month is Fair Day with an even wider variety of goods on offer, from ponies to pots and pans.

There are many excellent pubs, places to eat, 3-screen cinema, museum and Bantry House with its Armada Exhibition

There is also an excellent Golf Club.
